MARXOSO

How do I use it ?

You can start enjoying MARXOSO with the demo Tutorials – they’ll show you how to take advantage of and get the most out of the program. If it’s the first time you’ve visited these parts, it would be a good idea to follow the Tutoriales in the order laid out.

* First Start-Up *
Shows you the set up required to link up the database engine and create a database structure if none exists. (
SEE EXAMPLE)

*
Users  *
Shows you how program Users can be managed. (
SEE EXAMPLE)

* Sports Clubs  *
Shows you how to maintain as many sports clubs as you want.

     - General Data :
Shows you what the Sports Club data are: (SEE EXAMPLE)
     - E-mail :
You can see how to set up e-mail data. (
SEE EXAMPLE)

     - Sports :
You can manage the different sports disciplines and categories. (
SEE EXAMPLE)

* Sporting Events *

You can add, edit or erase as many events as you want for the clubs already created. By “event”, we mean one fun-run, race, competition or league organised by the single club or association. (SEE EXAMPLE)

    - Stages/Races -

    You must add all the stages/races that the event is to be made up of and that the race-goers are going to participate in.

            - General Data : shows you the general data of the stage/race and how to manage this data. (SEE EXAMPLE)
            - Enrolment : shows you the enrolment data for the stage/race. (SEE EXAMPLE)
            - Supervision : shows you how to have different supervisors to monitor the stage/race and how to make data management easier. (SEE EXAMPLE)
            - Documentation : Each stage/race should have a list of documents each race-goer should present to be able to enrol. (SEE EXAMPLE)
            - Prices : Stages/races may be free, or have a price that participants must pay to enrol. (SEE EXAMPLE)
            - Awards : Some organisations give out stage/race souvenirs to race-goers – this is where you can include them. (SEE EXAMPLE)

* Race-goers
*
Everything related to participant data for the stage/race. You can add, edit or erase each race-goer’s data, assign categories, race-numbers or print race-numbers. (
SEE EXAMPLE)
     - General Data : shows you the race-goer’s general data and how to input data efficiently. (
SEE EXAMPLE)

     - Enrolment : shows you the race-goer’s general data and how to input data efficiently. (SEE EXAMPLE)
      - Stage/Race : shows you the race-goer’s general data and how to input data efficiently. (SEE EXAMPLE)
      - E-mail : shows you the race-goer’s general data and how to input data efficiently. (SEE EXAMPLE)

     - Edit/Supervision :
After inputting the race-goers, we have to enrol them, possibly edit some data and send some of them an e-mail with instructions or other occurrences. (
SEE EXAMPLE)

    - List : You can print off lists of stage/race participants. (SEE EXAMPLE)
       - Category Assignment : All the enrolled race-goers should have a category assigned to them by age/sex before getting to the start-line. (SEE EXAMPLE)
      - Race Number Assignment/List :
Race-goers are going to have a personal race number to identify them throughout the stage/race – this shows you how to assign race numbers and print them. (
SEE EXAMPLE)

     - Global e-mail : We have to tell all race-goers about changes to the stage/race – this is where we can do this. (SEE EXAMPLE)

* Stage/Race-Day *
Just as it says on the tin, this is the momentous day of the stage or race. From here, we can manage everything related to Start-Line Control: the actual start time itself and, believe it or not, finishing times as well.

     - Start-Line Control : They’re about to fire the pistol – we have to know just WHO has shown up at the start-line from everyone enrolled. This is as good a time as any to get all that sorted out. (SEE EXAMPLE)
    - Stage/Race Start : We’re almost under Starter’s Orders and we still have to give a fixed time for the race to begin – get the stopwatch! Here we go!! (
SEE EXAMPLE)

      - Finish-Line : We’ve got to control all these sweating race-goers one by one as they’re arriving towards you at the Finish Line. This will show you how to cope. (SEE EXAMPLE)
            - Finish-Line Options: (SEE EXAMPLE) we’ve got lots of options to supervise the finish line efficiently:

                - Finish-Line Control : The stage/race has just ended this very second and we want to know just WHO has crossed the line (and just who ain’t).
                - Race Positions : The stage/race has finished. We’ve checked that everything’s in order – we’ve even sorted out a few complaints and unofficial enquiries – and we now have in our hands the official finishing order. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to print it out and let everyone in on it?

                - Diploma List : We can make print off all the race-goers’ diplomas with their personalised times, positions and even average speeds (on some diplomas).

* Participant Transfer *
We are going to manage the data of race-goers from one previous stage/race to another, but still within the same sporting event. What we have to do is transfer all the previous stage’s/race’s participants to the current stage/rage we are preparing. (SEE EXAMPLE)
